The China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival is a national film festival jointly organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the China Film Association and the people's government of the host city. Combining award presentations, film screenings, academic forums, project markets and international exchange, it is the film industry's major annual event. During the festival, filmmakers from China and abroad and guests from all sectors who support the development of Chinese cinema gather together.

The China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival was founded in 1992 and is hosted by different cities in rotation. To date, the festival has been held in Guilin, Guangzhou, Changsha, Beijing, Kunming, Foshan, Chongqing, Shenyang, Nanning, Ningbo, Wuxi, Jiaxing, Yinchuan, Sanya, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Dalian, Nanchang, Jiangyin, Hefei, Shaoxing, Wuhan, Lanzhou, Jilin, Tangshan, Hohhot, Xiamen and other cities.

The China Golden Rooster Awards (the Golden Rooster Awards) are a national professional film award organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC) and the China Film Association (CFA).
The awards were first presented in 1981, the Year of the Rooster in the Chinese lunar calendar, hence the name "China Golden Rooster Awards".

Xiamen Film Festival Co., Ltd. is a professional operator of film and television festivals and events directly under the Publicity Department of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee (Xiamen Municipal Film Bureau). It also serves as the executive body of the Xiamen Executive Committee of the China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival and as Xiamen's investment promotion platform for the film and television industry.
